Plush Animal Donation

Tonight we accepted a donation of Because We Care Foundation plush animals from Stephen Bowser with Bowser’s consultings - PFIA. These plush animals will be carried on our apparatus to be given to children who have been involved in emergency situations.

Weekly Training Night

Tonight’s weekly training was a great opportunity to get our members working together, thinking through problems, and practicing skills we may need on the next call.

Conventions

This year members of Station 71 and Engine 71 participated in the Cambria County Fireman’s Convention and the Central Districts Fireman’s Convention. Engine 71 placed 1st in its Category at Cambria County’s parade and also placed 2nd in its category at the Central Districts parade. Yesterday we wrapped up the 2026 Fire & Freedom BBQ Bash hosted by the Gallitzin Fire Company and Gallitzin American Legion Post 174. It was a great weekend of fun and amazing BBQ.
